IT&CMA & CTW, in cooperation with Carry For Kids and Destination Asia, continues to give back to our society through the Carry For Kids project for the sixth year.Let’s put our hearts into action by carrying a “Shoebox of Love” to IT&CMA & CTW, with necessities such as toiletries, clothing, stationery and toys. You can even wrap up your shoebox or include a personal note for the child! All ''Shoeboxes of Love'' and donations can be dropped off at the Carry for Kids booth during IT&CMA and CTW 2010 (Level 22, Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld) from 5 - 7 October 2010.
"Carry for Kids" promotes and educates airline staff, travel agents and travellers about how they can as individuals make a difference to the lives of underprivileged children in developing countries. The programme encourages travellers to carry a "Shoebox of Love" with necessities such as writing materials, toothpaste, toothbrush, cotton T-shirt, etc, for the less fortunate children in elected homes and orphanages. IT&CMA and CTW 2009 Supported Baan Kru Noi
Since then, her extreme generosity has been much talked about, and many people bring their children to live with her even though Kru Noi is massively indebted for food and other expenses. Ten years ago, Kru Noi’s story received attention from the mass media. Organisations, foundations and the general public started giving help to “Baan Kru Noi”, donating money, food, clothes and toys. To better allow the children to cultivate a positive attitude in life, volunteers from various institutions run a variety of activities such as art, music, computing and English for the children.

While many people are willing to help others when they are ready to help, Kru Nuannoi Timkul or “Kru Noi” gives a hand to underprivileged children even though she has a stroke and is not rich. She worked in straitened circumstances for several years until “Ban Kru Noi” ("House of Kru Noi" in Thai) as guaranteed by the Department of Public Welfare as able to look after underprivileged children in 1987.
Since 1980, Kru Noi has helped about 800 poor, handicapped, abandoned and neglected children. Growing up in a poor family, Kru Noi was able to relate to the poverty the children were facing. She has since dedicated her life to helping these children to overcome obstacles in life. Her house is being used as a home for the children where she feeds them meals and teaches them to be literate.
