Q: What is IT&CMA and CTW Asia-Pacific?
Incentive Travel & Conventions, Meetings Asia (IT&CMA) is the region’s premier meetings and incentive travel show and is attended by thousands of delegates from more than 36 countries. It is a platform for promoting the Asia-Pacific region as a MICE (Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conventions & Exhibitions) destination as well as a source for MICE visitors. Corporate Travel World (CTW) Asia-Pacific is a conference and exhibition on Corporate Travel & Entertainment (T&E) management in the Asia-Pacific region. It is a platform for hundreds of corporate travel managers, procurement executives, travel agencies and suppliers to meet and discuss the best ROI (Return on Investment) and impact of global and regional issues on business travel.

Q: Who are the organisers and partners of IT&CMA and CTW?
IT&CMA and CTW is organised by TTG Asia Media Pte Ltd, supported by Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau, Thailand Incentives & Convention Association and Thai Airways.

IT&CMA and CTW is partnered with over 20 established Supporting Publications from around the world and has the endorsement and support of travel trade associations of international standing. Q: What is the history of IT&CMA and CTW?
IT&CMA started in 1993 in Hong Kong.  In line with its objective of promoting the Asia-Pacific region as a MICE destination, the event has a change of host country/venue every three to five years in general.  IT&CMA has been held in Hong Kong (1993 - 1996); Malaysia (1997 - 2001); Bangkok, Thailand (2002 - 2004) and Pattaya, Thailand (2005 - 2006). 

CTW Asia-Pacific began in 1998 in Malaysia as the region's first-ever event on Corporate Travel & Entertainment (T&E) management.  CTW has been held in Malaysia (1998 - 1999) and Singapore (2000 - 2003) and has been co-located with IT&CMA since 2004.

Q: Who should attend IT&CMA and CTW?
MICE and corporate travel suppliers from Asia- Pacific and beyond can showcase their products and services to international buyers and corporate travel managers under one roof at IT&CMA/CTW 2007. It is also an opportunity for exhibitors to show an exciting and diverse range of destinations, products, itineraries and ideas to give buyers and their clients the experiences of their lifetime!

Q: For how long has IT&CMA and CTW been co-located, and what is the purpose of the co-location?
IT&CMA and CTW has been co-located since 2004.

By co-locating the two shows, this will definitely result in a bigger participation of exhibitors and attendance of delegates and visitors. It means time and cost savings for both suppliers and buyers in the industry.

Q: What are the programme highlights delegates can look forward to?
IT&CMA/CTW offer plenty of networking opportunities during its Friendly Golf Tournament and social events, such as hosted lunches and dinners, late-night functions, city tours and post-show familiarisation tours.

The tradeshow has an all-encompassing MICE and corporate travel exhibition where delegates will be pre-scheduled with business appointment with their desired clients and suppliers. It kicks off with a high-powered keynote session followed by two-days of conference seminars and certification sessions.

Last but not least, the annual Sticky Awards is a light-hearted "Oscars" whereby all delegates can vote and reward the most creative and unforgettable effort given by exhibitors to wow their audiences. Over the years, Sticky Awards has expanded its voting categories to reward the best buyer, speaker, function, and post-show tour as well!
