Top Story: Exciting Changes for IT&CMA/CTW 2005
2005 promises to be an exciting year for IT&CMA and CTW Asia-Pacific. Not only is this the second year that the two specialist travel shows are being co-located, it also marks the first time the event will be held in Pattaya, Thailand - a fresh venue after Bangkok has played host for the last three years.

And the excitement factor doesn't stop rising, as new changes are being introduced for IT&CMA/CTW 2005:-

NEW! 1. CTW Table-Top Exhibition: The specially scheduled CTW Table-Top Exhibition is a dedicated session for Corporate Travel Managers and corporate travel suppliers to meet and exchange business cards right on Day 1. This gives Corporate Travel Managers time to attend the conference as well as visit the IT&CMA/CTW exhibition over the next two days. Every appointment fulfilled during the CTW Table-Top Exhibition will earn Corporate Travel Managers a stamp in the CTW Passport. The mini business mart will kick start with a networking coffee break.

NEW! 2. Pre-scheduled Appointments for Corporate Travel Managers: To increase the business opportunities between MICE sellers and Corporate Travel Managers, pre-scheduled appointments will be made available to the latter for the first time through an online diary system. This system allows a one-way request from Corporate Travel Managers to pre-schedule up to 10 "CTW Business Appointments" with IT&CMA exhibitors they wish to meet. Corporate Travel Managers will fulfil these appointments during the time allotted to visit the exhibition on Days 2 & 3. Every appointment fulfilled will earn Corporate Travel Managers a stamp in the CTW Passport.

NEW! 3. CTW Passport to 2006: To qualify for the 2006 Hosting Programme, Corporate Travel Managers are required to earn a total of 20 stamps in the CTW Passport. 10 of these stamps are required during the CTW Table-Top Exhibition with CTW Exhibitors, while the other 10 during CTW Business Appointments with IT&CMA exhibitors.

NEW! 4. Certification Workshops & Experiential Training: For the first time, IT&CMA and CTW delegates will have a chance to attend workshops or experiential training activities leading to certification. There will be different courses to suit the needs of MICE buyers and sellers, as well as Corporate Travel Managers. These fast-track certification courses will be conducted by well-qualified and experienced instructors and industry leaders.

Spotlight on Pattaya ... Golf!
Pattaya - home to IT&CMA/CTW for 2005 and 2006 - shines through as a sports and entertainment destination in Thailand. In this first of a series of features on the sights and sounds of this Eastern Seaboard gem, we focus on some of the championship courses that have made Pattaya a golfer's wonderland.

With over 20 golf courses dotted all over this paradise resort, you are bound to find one that suits you, no matter your handicap level. Take your pick from championship courses designed by some of the most famous names no less: Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Nick Faldo, Pete Dye, Desmond Muirhead, and Wolveridge & Thomson.

Taking a swing in these 18-, 27- and 36-hole courses of international standard set in spectacular scenery comes complete with pleasant tropical sun, warm friendly staff, and high quality clubhouse facilities and services.

Excellent weather year-round in Pattaya provides perfect conditions for playing golf, with slight temperature variation between the three seasons: cool season from November to February; hot season from March to May; and the rainy season from June to October. The average September temperature in Bangkok, 140km northwest of Pattaya, reaches 28ºC (82ºF).

Despite the excellent courses and service levels, you will not expect to burn a hole in your pocket. Hardly any other place offers such a wide range of championship standard golf courses at low rates. So what are you waiting for? It's time to tee off!
